My favorite gifts to give to kids are books. I love giving books because these are gifts that really last. They also enrich the imagination and create wonderful bonding memories between parents and children. I have always read to my son and he loves being read to. To me, one of the happy things we do together is when he pulls out a book (or three) from his overstuffed bookshelf and asks me “mama, can you read me a story?”

Look It’s About Me Books pump up the reading experience even higher with personalized books where your kid/s become the star of their own stories! My sons got their own copies and I have to say that my eldest was THRILLED to see his name in the story. His cousin’s names were also included as they were used for some of the minor characters. Of course, my name, his dada’s and his little brother’s are also included in the adventure. There are three stories to choose from. I chose The Great Space Race and Super Duper Birthday Party. These are perfect for kids who are learning how to read as their names are repeated throughout the book. My son kept on shouting his name all throughout.  Kilig na kilig! Their names are also written in other details and illustrations throughout the book.

The books cost PHP1,200 each. Pricey but the books are produced per order. They are also printed on high-quality semi-glossy paper. The colors are vibrant and the books are big too! There is no scrimping on quality for sure. Another wonderful thing about these books are that the authors and illustrators are all Pinoys! Yep! Sariling Atin!
